Step 3: Meals
Meals are our gift to all our guests and returning Alumni. If you’d like to contribute, we always need help serving and cleaning up meals. Or if you’d like, you may make a donation.
Alumni Protocol
To provide the best experience for first-time attendees, we ask that you report to Heather Trim before the first session. She will coach you about Alumni Protocol: where to sit in the Family Room, don’t answer the facilitator’s questions (let the first-time attendees answer), and be careful not to counsel, coach, or give advice to first-time attendees.
Alumni may attend all the group sessions, except for the Deliverance Retreat’s Friday evening session with Katie Mather.
Before you arrive, please fill out the Liability Waiver:
Making Travel Plans
Details
Check in starts at 12:30 AM EST on Friday. (See schedule on the retreat page.) The retreat ends on Sunday around 1:00 PM. You are welcome to quietly come and go to whatever sessions you’d like.
Lodging
All retreat attendees and Alumni (who are not local) will need to make their own reservations for each night of the retreat at a hotel, or Airbnb, or local friend’s home near the retreat location. (Use the address on the directions page to search for accommodations nearby.)
TIP: If you will be traveling more than 4 hours, we recommend that you travel the day before and get a hotel for that night as well.
Transportation
All retreat attendees and Alumni will need to coordinate their own transportation. If you plan to fly, the nearest airport is Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (airport code: ATL).
We encourage you to rent a car or arrange other transportation from the airport. During your retreat, you'll need transportation to and from your hotel to the retreat location in the morning and evening.
Special Note: Attendees and Alumni may not bring pets or emotional support animals to the Ranch. Only licensed Service Animals are permitted. See the Service Animal Policy for more details.
Deliverance Second Look
Returning as an alum does not sign you up for another deliverance session. Alumni may sit in all sessions except the spiritual surgery of deliverance. Deliverance, done properly, is only needed one time to get rid of the internal sabotage of the chief and ruling spirit (and all demons under it’s authority.) We do not need to get deliverance over and over.
There are times when folks believe they are in need of a second deliverance session. Most often, what is truly needed is the next level of wholeness and inner healing. Sometimes a crisis comes up and it “seems” like the demons are back. For years we allowed second looks for anyone who asked, but 99% of the time there were no demons attached, and what they really needed was healing, not deliverance. Deliverance removes demons, it does not remove a wounded spirit, or remove a broken heart, or stop trouble in life from happening.
There are other times, it is a spiritual warfare issue, where there is an outside attack. It is not re-demonization when the enemy attacks, it is a need for the armor of God, or cleaning demonic visitors out of your home, etc.
If there are extenuating circumstances, we are willing discuss a second look. Please call the office to determine what is occurring and what may be needed.
